QUANTITY SURVEY DEPATMENT WELCOMES HER FRESHMEN AND INAUGURATES EXECUTIVES

The department of Quantity Surveying and National association of Quantity Surveying Students Obafemi Awolowo University on September 14th 2016 in the OAU conference center welcomed her fresh students and inaugurated her newly elected executive members. The newly elected executives promised after the swearing in to take the department to a zenith.
Most importantly was the award in honour of an alumnus of QS
department OAU Mr Obafemi Onashile
(FNIQS, FRICS) who is the president elect of Nigerian Institute of Quantity
Surveyors ( NIQS). The celebrant humbly accepted the award and in response, he thank the HOD of Quantity surveying OAU Prof. Odeyinka for the honor. He urged
students to participate in NIQS activities ,to have a constant awareness about
QS market and to be focus on acquiring skill and knowledge. He promises to
assist the department in meeting up with the forth coming NUC accreditation.
Donations from other state chapters of NIQS was also made to the department.
