Seven presidential aspirants at the debate
The debate which started some hours after the stipulated time frame (12 noon) was anchored by Adeleke Sodiq, who started the debate with prayer by singing the second stanza of the National Anthem. Later sang the first stanza of the National Anthem and Great Ife Anthem respectively. Some August visitors graced the event
According to newsmen, 32 aspirants are going for posts in the Central Executive Council election. Seven presidential aspirants, three vice presidential aspirants, three public relation aspirants, two aspirants for the financial secretary post, four aspirants vying for the post of the welfare director, two aspirants for the post of the social director, three aspirants for the post of the sport director, three aspirants going for the post of the assistant general secretary and four aspirants going for the post of the general secretary.
The debate started with the introduction of those people vying for the post of the Sport Director, in which Erintoo, Coach Oore and Oluwamicheal came out, they read their citations in which the journalists did themselves. They were then questioned by the panel of judges through an intact and sealed questionnaires in some of the aspirants answered appropriately. Oduduwa Hall was filled to the brim as the supporters of each candidates were fully present.
