The Federal University of Technology Owerri to resume academic activities that is 2016/2017 session on the 8th of May 2017 after 3 months break.The break started on the 17th February 2017.

The Senate of the university which the highest council announced this on a release given out to the students of the school. According to the release, examination starts after 3 weeks of resumption.
