The meeting which was adjourned to hold June 9, 2017 turns out to be a menace where some students rose against each other due to some political interest and favoritism decision passed in the parliamentary sitting
Recalled earlier by the meeting held on 8th June 2017 that a meeting will hold on 9th June 2017 following the intended unfruitful and and controversial Congress which was disrupted by some people whose motive is best known to themselves.
Members in the parliament agreed to converge for an emergency meeting through their signature according to ARTICLE 11,SECTION 15,SUBSECTION 2B*, of the sacrosanct constitution of student union OAU
"A special meeting maybe summoned by a written petition of one third of the members of SRC provided noticed of such is given in advance. ''
Though some members of the parliament vehemently saw this emergency meeting as illegal.
While the adjourned meeting was going on with the presence of few honorable members of Parliament and some Great Ife students, a security member and 4 member of the Parliament came in and disrupted the peace of the ongoing meeting,
This resulted to a state where a student hit chair on his fellow students head, this act set the whole house on an uproar as Great Ife Students were conscious of moderating the case but was restricted by some unknown hooligans whose victim are of the same caucus and everything ended unfruitful due to the interruption of the light.
This lead to the adjournment of the meeting to Saturday 10th June 2017 by 10am at the initial venue .
