OAU students' union leaders from the CEC (Central Executive. Council) to SRC(Student Representatives Council)  and to HEC(Hall Executive Council)  was sworn in at the wee hours of  6th of March, 2017 at oduduwa hall. 


The Acting Vice Chancelor of the University swears in the speaker and the deputy speaker while the speaker in turn does same for the president vice president and other executives and also to the HEC and SRC members.

 The occasion was graced by The Acting  Vice Chancellor, Prof Anthony Elujoba, The Registrar of the community , Mr David Awoyemi, The Dean Division of Students' affair, Professor (Mrs) G. O. Akinola.

 The event started with the university PRO, Abiodun Olanrewaju introducing the guests after which, a welcome address was given by the Dean, DSA Prof. (Mrs) G. O. Akinola. The Acting Vice Chancellor, Professor Anthony Elujoba gave the final speech of the day encouraging the union to work for the interest of the students.
