At the wee hours of yesterday , there was a tribal brawl that happened within the confines of Sabo market in Ile-Ife, Osun state. The brawl happened between the Yoruba people and the Hausa's. 



  At the crisis scene 

The clash reportedly started when a bus used his side mirror to hit an Hausa woman at Sabo last night.The Hausa men at Sabo market got angry and injured the driver with cutlass. By this morning, the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) boys retaliated and in which about five people are said to have been killed and others injured in the ongoing fight.

Viticms of the incident 


Gunshots were being heard afar off, while some shops have been set ablaze and residents have deserted both Sabo and Lagere, Ile-Ife, in bid to escape the clash.The crisis was said to have happened on the 7th of March 2017 due to the issue the Hausa traders had with Yoruba women.The fight was said to have been settled but due to the injury the Yoruba's sustained during the cause of the fight,the Yoruba faithfuls then promised to fight till the end
On the 8th of March,the fight which led to the death of 7 Hausa's,while  some were burnt to ashes and properties were destroyed,houses were burnt down with market squares.
The securities who were called were also in favour of the Hausa's because they were also Hausa's
