OAU:"We will boycott lecture if there is no light" says SU PRO

The Public Relations Officer of the Great Ife Student's Union, Obafemi Awolowo University, Okediji Simeon politically known as 'Zuma' have poured out his grievances on the welfarism of the student most especially the power outage on campus.

Speaking on a release, he said that the own community has been experiencing power outage for some days now. He blamed the school management on this lapses

He said "It is unfortunate that we have been in Stygian darkness for more than three days now coupled with abiku-like water supply.  This unencouraging situation has further compounded the degenerated and debased welfare condition on campus."

He also debunked the rumored one month strike that the students might likely embarked on, due to happenings on campus

"However,  the rumour about the one-month  strike should be jettisoned for now as there is no available official evidence to substantiate that."

He openly declared that if there still power outage on campus after

"However, if there is no power supply before 12pm , we shall declare a lecture boycott which will take effect immediately by 12pm.  

On a final note,  we want to assure Great Ife Students that we shall continue to compel the University Management to rekindle their commitment to improving our general welfare condition."
